How the CFL Playoff Bracket Works
Division Semi-Finals (Sat, Nov 02, 2024)
- 2nd place team vs. 3rd place team (or crossover team, if applicable)
- Two games: One in the East and one in the West
Division Finals (Sat, Nov 09, 2024)
- 1st place team from each division (with a bye) hosts the semi-final winner
- One East Division Final and one West Division Final
Grey Cup (Sun, Nov 17, 2024)
- East Division Champion vs. West Division Champion
- Held at a neutral venue to crown the CFL champion
Crossover Rule
If the 4th place team from one division has more points than the 3rd place team in the opposite division, they take that 3rd spot in the opposing division’s playoff bracket.
